The dreamer and the grower at Sunrise Lavender Farm and the hands that plant the seeds.

Benita has always had a love and knack for making things grow. She loves to be outside with her hands in the dirt, all while listening to the birds and watching the pollinators fly from bloom to bloom. Seeing those first signs of life break through the dirt brings Benita so much joy and seeing others feel that same joy makes it that much sweeter.

If Benita isn't tending to the lavender fields you can find her reading to her grandson, browsing the shelves of her local nursery or bathing her chickens.

Our Bearded Carpenter here at Sunrise Lavender Farm and the sweat and love that turns the soil.

Apart from moving boulders, running the tractor and many other things here on the farm, Egon runs Handyman Vernon BC, a home repair service.

When he isn't working, you'll find him watching soccer, with his favourite teams being the Whitecaps and Liverpool. But most often, he is hanging out with his grandson creating and building stuff.

Abby is the creative person in our family, being a crazy talented artist. It's her job to take our ideas and make them come to life. She oversees the administration, graphics & art work related items. 

Kian is our lavender farmer in training. His dream is to become a famous Youtuber, but if that doesn't pan out he'll be ready to take over the family farm.

Leela, as known by her family is our website designer and assists us in making sense of the social media stuff. Alivia, too is an avid gardener with a 'Green Thumb' like her mom and her Oma Warkentin.

Our Lavender Guardian Dog, Willow, has been on our farm for two years. Her job is to watch over the farm and keep local wildlife out of the fields and away from the chickens.

Willow not only protects the farm from wildlife but from strangers, too. She waits for confirmation from Benita or Egon that you are welcomed on the farm, so be sure not to approach the dogs without permission.

If Willow is not surveying the property, you will most likely find her chewing on Wilbur.

Wilbur is the trusted friend and assistant to Willow.

He ensures that airborne predators are not eyeing up the chickens and sniffs out any of the smaller wildlife that Willow may not be able to find.

While Wilbur takes his job very seriously, he does enjoy a good nap with Egon on the couch after a hard day's work.
